Nandanam Arts
Malavika and Pooja's World of Dance

Welcome to Nandanam Arts...
Converting our passion to a meaningful cause

We, Malavika Menon and Pooja Menon, are passionate dancers of the Indian Classical Dance ‘Bharathanatyam’, specializing in this graceful dance form for the past 10 years.

Passion with an Objective…

The world has given us so much love, and we would love to make a purpose out of our passion to give the best we can to the community, and thus create a difference... We feel a tremendous impact giving back to the community by this volunteering activity through Nandanam Arts… The uttermost satisfaction we get relating our art and joy to our audience is beyond words.

Passion with a purpose…

  • Getting involved in Alzheimer’s research made us understand that mental health of elderly people is crucial to their overall wellness

  • Without entertaining activities and interactions, seniors can experience a variety of distressing conditions, including debilitating loneliness, depression, and an increased risk of dementia

  • On the other hand, consistent mental engagements along with their physical and social activities are helpful in preventing or slowing the progress of Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia

  • This made us realize that our talent and passion can be beneficial in this regard and motivated us to start this volunteering platform for the entertainment of seniors to enhance their lives through the art of dancing

  • The key is to keep seniors involved in the world of music and dance – merge them into the world of magical stories, characters and emotions through Indian dance forms

We perform Indian classical dances (Bharthanatyam, Mohiniyattam and Kathak), folk, fusion and Bollywood dances. We do both in-person and virtual performances.

We are also delighted to do performances for other charity organizations and community centers as well - converting our passion to a meaningful cause.

Please contact us if you would like to have an Indian dance performance at your center.

We like to expand our art & creativity by choreographing and exploring new styles. Please check out our Youtube channel.
